SEASON 2025

WEEK 10

Week HighOmar A.141.4
Week LowOmar H.90.6
THE WEEKLY REPORT: where the film gets watched so you don't have to.

Okashah hung 136.1 on Omar H. and never looked back, winning by 45.5 in the week's designated execution. Zaid beat Karim 132.8-101.9 and nobody will remember it by Thursday. Mustafa handled Ahmad, 132.6-102.2, in a game with all the drama of a scheduled oil change. Omar A. dispatched Yousef 141.4-125.7 with the ruthless efficiency of a man deleting spam. Tarick outscored Aziz 111.5-97.5, a sentence that fully captures the excitement level. Issa escaped Adil by 5.5 points, the fantasy equivalent of a field goal as time expires.

Week's best: Omar A. with 141.4. Briefly competent. Mark the calendar. Omar H. brought up the rear with 90.6, a number you can achieve by autodrafting and losing your phone.

In the season race: Omar A. still leads the league in scoring, while Issa continues auditioning for the punishment.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: In 2023, Yousef dropped 144.6 on Mustafa in this same week — a public execution the league still references. Week 10 of 2024: Ahmad beat Omar H. by 78.5, a beating the tape still uses as training material.

Set your lineups. Or don't. It's clearly optional for some of you.

Omar A.
(MARLBURROW REDS)
141.4@125.7
Yousef
(Drake and Josh)
Pregame · The Booth

Settle in. The projections say this one's close. The projections have been drinking. Records: 5-4 and 6-3. Identical enough that both fanbases — populations of one — are equally nervous. Winners of 3 straight, MARLBURROW REDS enters with the swagger of a team that hasn't checked how it happened. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

MARLBURROW REDS over Drake and Josh, 141.4-125.7. The box score reads like a shrug, and the booth respects an honest shrug. League-best 141.4 for Omar A. this week. The booth acknowledges excellence the way it acknowledges everything: reluctantly. 7-3. Omar A. played the odds and, for once, the odds played along. 5-5. The booth isn't saying it's over for Yousef. The booth is simply reading numbers aloud, menacingly.

Karim
(Band$ Emeka Dance)
101.9@132.8
Zaid
(Milk Nabers)
Pregame · The Booth

Somewhere, a bye week goes unnoticed. But not by me. Never by me. Band$ Emeka Dance has been humming along at 5-4. Milk Nabers is sitting at 3-6 and calling it a rebuilding year. In a redraft league. Think about that. Lineups lock soon. So do fates.

Postgame · The Booth

It ends 132.8-101.9. No drama, no controversy, just Karim quietly updating his excuses spreadsheet. And that, friends, is an upset. Zaid came in at 3-6, looked across at Karim's 5-4 juggernaut, and simply did not care. Beautiful, chaotic, disrespectful football. Winner winner: Zaid at 4-6. The trajectory is real. So is the schedule. We'll see. As for Karim: 5-5 now. At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a body of work.

Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
129.6@135.1
Issa
(Shamjesus)
Pregame · The Booth

Grab your popcorn. One of these rosters was built by a genius, the other by a group chat dare. Talkin Tua Teenager at 6-3 should handle this. Of course, 'should' is the most dangerous word in this league, usually spoken right before Issa ruins someone's weekend. The booth's official forecast: chaos, with a chance of somebody blaming their kicker.

Postgame · The Booth

By 5.5 points, Issa takes it, 135.1-129.6. Games this close are decided by benches, kickers, and the gods, and none of them like Adil. Issa (2-7) beats Adil (6-3), proving once again that in this league, pedigree is a rumor. Issa moves to 3-7. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. Adil falls to 6-4. The group chat has been notified. The group chat was already laughing.

Mustafa
(Forbes 30 Under 5'5)
132.6@102.2
Ahmad
(Juicy Lucy)
Pregame · The Booth

Ladies and gentlemen, a football game. Allegedly. Ahmad (4-5) and Mustafa (5-4) come in dead even on paper, which is a polite way of saying neither has earned my respect. Whatever happens, remember: the booth predicted it, retroactively, with confidence.

Postgame · The Booth

Mustafa banks the W, 132.6-102.2, and moves on with his life. Ahmad is advised to attempt the same. That's 6-4 for Mustafa. Say what you want about the man — the booth certainly will — but the wins are real. Ahmad sits at 4-6 and has begun using the phrase 'points against' unprompted. A cry for help.

Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
136.1@90.6
Omar H.
(Follicle Failure)
Pregame · The Booth

Two managers enter. One leaves pretending they 'didn't even check their lineup.' Follicle Failure (3-6) versus Mohammad's Dolphins Team (4-5). Vegas calls this a pick'em. I call it mutually assured mediocrity. Let's see whose projections were lies.

Postgame · The Booth

Mohammad's Dolphins Team by 45.5. The tape will be studied by historians, comedians, and Omar H.'s therapist. League low: 90.6, by Omar H.. Twelve managers played this week. Somebody had to be the floor, and the floor was load-bearing. Okashah banks it and sits at 5-5. Somewhere a projection model feels validated. Briefly. Omar H. slides to 3-7. The schedule ahead offers no apologies and neither does the booth.

Aziz
(Fourth and Bald)
97.5@111.5
Tarick
(Shia Killer)
Pregame · The Booth

The scoreboard is warming up and so is my disappointment. On paper this is a coin flip: Shia Killer at 6-3, Fourth and Bald at 5-4. On tape, it's two teams praying the other starts the wrong flex. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

111.5-97.5, Shia Killer over Fourth and Bald. A professional beating. Not a memorable one, just a thorough one. Tarick climbs to 7-3, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. Aziz falls to 5-5. The good news: it can't get worse. The bad news: I said that last week too.
