SEASON 2025

WEEK 11

Week HighAdil146.8
Week LowTarick80.9
THE WEEKLY REPORT: twelve teams, six games, zero accountability.

Issa hung 125.2 on Tarick and never looked back, winning by 44.3 in the week's designated execution. Adil took care of Zaid, 146.8-119.3, workmanlike and forgettable. Omar H. dispatched Mustafa 112.5-100.1 with the ruthless efficiency of a man deleting spam. Karim beat Ahmad 108.4-96.8 and nobody will remember it by Thursday. Okashah got past Omar A., 118.5-107.6, in a game the tape will file under 'fine, whatever'. Yousef survived Aziz by 2.3, and both benches deserve subpoenas over it.

Week's best: Adil with 146.8. Briefly competent. Mark the calendar. Week's worst: Tarick with 80.9. Twelve managers, and one of them scored THAT.

In the season race: Omar A. still leads the league in scoring, while Issa continues auditioning for the punishment.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: Week 11 of 2023: Karim beat Yousef by 40.7, a beating the tape still uses as training material. This week in 2024, Omar A. edged Zaid by 6.5 in a Week 11 classic decided by loose change.

Same time next week, unless the commissioner finally has this booth silenced.

Aziz
(Fourth and Bald)
Pregame · The Booth

Strap in, folks. Somebody's week is about to be ruined, and I get paid to watch. Dead heat on the standings page: Fourth and Bald 5-5, Drake and Josh 5-5. Somebody's about to learn which .500 team was lying. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Drake and Josh edges Fourth and Bald by 2.3. Aziz will find the exact bench player who cost him this by Tuesday, and it will hurt. That's 6-5 for Yousef. Say what you want about the man — the booth certainly will — but the wins are real. Aziz drops to 5-6, and somewhere his bench players are demanding a trade to the starting lineup.

Tarick
(Shia Killer)
80.9@125.2
Issa
(Shamjesus)
Pregame · The Booth

The stakes: pride, standings, and the right to be smug in a group chat. Shia Killer (7-3) is the clear favorite over Shamjesus (3-7), and if you disagree, congratulations, you must be Issa. May the best roster win, and may the worst manager notice.

Postgame · The Booth

Shamjesus by 44.3. The tape will be studied by historians, comedians, and Tarick's therapist. And that, friends, is an upset. Issa came in at 3-7, looked across at Tarick's 7-3 juggernaut, and simply did not care. Beautiful, chaotic, disrespectful football. 80.9 — the worst score anyone managed this week. Tarick is asked to report to the film room and to bring a helmet. Issa improves to 4-7. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. Now 7-4, Tarick enters the part of the season where 'mathematically alive' does a lot of heavy lifting.

Omar H.
(Follicle Failure)
112.5@100.1
Mustafa
(Forbes 30 Under 5'5)
Pregame · The Booth

Another week, another chance for these two to embarrass their draft boards. Forbes 30 Under 5'5 has been humming along at 6-4. Follicle Failure is sitting at 3-7 and calling it a rebuilding year. In a redraft league. Think about that. See you at the final whistle, where one of these paragraphs becomes prophecy.

Postgame · The Booth

Follicle Failure over Forbes 30 Under 5'5, 112.5-100.1. The box score reads like a shrug, and the booth respects an honest shrug. Upset alert delivered. Follicle Failure (3-7) just clipped Forbes 30 Under 5'5 (6-4), and I want you to know Mustafa absolutely saw this coming and started the wrong guys anyway. 4-7. Omar H. played the odds and, for once, the odds played along. Mustafa sits at 6-5 and has begun using the phrase 'points against' unprompted. A cry for help.

Omar A.
(MARLBURROW REDS)
107.6@118.5
Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
Pregame · The Booth

The booth has reviewed both rosters and would like to speak to a manager. Either one. MARLBURROW REDS at 7-3 should handle this. Of course, 'should' is the most dangerous word in this league, usually spoken right before Okashah ruins someone's weekend. Okashah is on a 3-game run and has begun using the word 'dynasty' in casual conversation. The booth is monitoring the situation. One of you is about to be a cautionary tale. The booth thanks you in advance.

Postgame · The Booth

It ends 118.5-107.6. No drama, no controversy, just Omar A. quietly updating his excuses spreadsheet. A genuine shocker: Mohammad's Dolphins Team at 5-5 takes down MARLBURROW REDS at 7-3. The league's natural order has filed a complaint. Okashah moves to 6-5. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. That's 7-4 for Omar A., whose season is now best described as 'a rebuilding year for morale.'

Zaid
(Milk Nabers)
119.3@146.8
Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
Pregame · The Booth

Good evening from the booth, where hope comes to be audited. Adil rolls in at 6-4 while Zaid is dragging a 4-6 record behind them like a busted trailer hitch. The metrics say mismatch. The metrics are being polite. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

Talkin Tua Teenager wins 146.8-119.3 in a game the tape will file under 'competent, mostly.' Adil's 146.8 was the top score in the league this week. Enjoy it. Peaks like this are usually followed by cliffs. Adil improves to 7-4 and has earned exactly one week of walking slightly taller. Use it wisely. Zaid drops to 4-7 and is officially in 'blame the projections' territory.

Ahmad
(Juicy Lucy)
96.8@108.4
Karim
(Band$ Emeka Dance)
Pregame · The Booth

I watched the film twice so you only have to suffer once. Band$ Emeka Dance (5-5) versus Juicy Lucy (4-6). Vegas calls this a pick'em. I call it mutually assured mediocrity. Ahmad rides a 3-game skid into this one, and the vibes in that locker room — a phone, in a pocket — are grim. The booth's official forecast: chaos, with a chance of somebody blaming their kicker.

Postgame · The Booth

A tidy 108.4-96.8 win for Band$ Emeka Dance. The film session will be short. Ahmad's will not. Winner winner: Karim at 6-5. The trajectory is real. So is the schedule. We'll see. 4-7. The booth isn't saying it's over for Ahmad. The booth is simply reading numbers aloud, menacingly.
