SEASON 2025

WEEK 4

Week HighYousef177.7
Week LowIssa96.5
THE WEEKLY REPORT: we watched every lineup. Some of you should be in prison.

Yousef hung 177.7 on Ahmad and never looked back, winning by 54.9 in the week's designated execution. Aziz put 138.4 on Issa in a 41.9-point mugging that should interest law enforcement. Mustafa took care of Adil, 138.4-118.9, workmanlike and forgettable. Karim beat Okashah 152.5-139.0, and the less said about the loser's flex spot, the kinder. Tarick beat Zaid 137.1-128.7 and nobody will remember it by Thursday. Omar A. handled Omar H., 139.4-131.8, in a game with all the drama of a scheduled oil change.

Week's best: Yousef with 177.7. Briefly competent. Mark the calendar. Issa brought up the rear with 96.5, a number you can achieve by autodrafting and losing your phone.

Trade wire: Zaid shipped out and Adil bought in (Quinshon Judkins, Chris Olave, CeeDee Lamb). One of them will regret this by December. Karim lost 3 waiver claims this week, which takes a special commitment to being second.

In the season race: Yousef still leads the league in scoring, while Omar H. continues auditioning for the punishment.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: In 2023, Yousef dropped 224.8 on Issa in this same week — a public execution the league still references. Week 4 of 2024: Adil beat Mustafa by 57.5, a beating the tape still uses as training material.

Same time next week, unless the commissioner finally has this booth silenced.

Ahmad
(Juicy Lucy)
122.8@177.7
Yousef
(Drake and Josh)
Pregame · The Booth

This is the matchup the schedule-maker circled, presumably while laughing. On paper this is a coin flip: Drake and Josh at 2-1, Juicy Lucy at 3-0. On tape, it's two teams praying the other starts the wrong flex. Ahmad's 3-game streak is real. So is gravity. One of them wins eventually. May the best roster win, and may the worst manager notice.

Postgame · The Booth

Drake and Josh 177.7, Juicy Lucy 122.8. In the film room we call that a 'teaching tape.' Ahmad, you were the lesson. The two of them hung 300.5 together. That's not a matchup, that's an arms deal. 177.7 — tops in the league this week. Yousef will mention this at least forty times before Thursday. 3-1. Yousef played the odds and, for once, the odds played along. Ahmad falls to 3-1. The group chat has been notified. The group chat was already laughing.

Omar H.
(Follicle Failure)
131.8@139.4
Omar A.
(MARLBURROW REDS)
Pregame · The Booth

You wanted analysis. I brought a scalpel. The spread on this one is roughly Omar A.'s ego, which is to say: enormous. 2-1 against 0-3 doesn't lie. Follicle Failure has lost 3 straight, which by my math is 3 more consecutive losses than a competently managed franchise should allow. Sunday will sort this out the way it sorts everything: rudely.

Postgame · The Booth

MARLBURROW REDS wins 139.4-131.8 in a game the tape will file under 'competent, mostly.' Omar A. climbs to 3-1, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. 0-4 for Omar H.. Every loss has a lesson; this one's lesson was 'stop doing that.'

Karim
(Band$ Emeka Dance)
152.5@139.0
Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
Pregame · The Booth

Welcome back to the only league where the tape never lies and neither do I. Dead heat on the standings page: Mohammad's Dolphins Team 1-2, Band$ Emeka Dance 0-3. Somebody's about to learn which .500 team was lying. Karim has lost 3 in a row and started describing it as 'a process.' The process is losing. The booth's official forecast: chaos, with a chance of somebody blaming their kicker.

Postgame · The Booth

It ends 152.5-139.0. No drama, no controversy, just Okashah quietly updating his excuses spreadsheet. 291.5 combined points. Somewhere a defensive coordinator is weeping, and neither of these managers cares. Karim is 1-3 now. The booth has updated his file from 'concerning' to 'under review.' That's 1-3 for Okashah, whose season is now best described as 'a rebuilding year for morale.'

Zaid
(Milk Nabers)
128.7@137.1
Tarick
(Shia Killer)
Pregame · The Booth

Every week I say it can't get dumber. Every week this league accepts the challenge. Tarick at 2-1 against Zaid at 1-2. The analytics call it even. The analytics have not met these men. Kickoff's coming. Set your lineups, say your prayers.

Postgame · The Booth

Shia Killer handles business, 137.1-128.7. Zaid will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. Tarick improves to 3-1. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. 1-3. The booth isn't saying it's over for Zaid. The booth is simply reading numbers aloud, menacingly.

Issa
(Shamjesus)
96.5@138.4
Aziz
(Fourth and Bald)
Pregame · The Booth

Two game plans walk in. Statistically, at least one of them is a coin with feelings. Records: 1-2 and 1-2. Identical enough that both fanbases — populations of one — are equally nervous. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

138.4-96.5. A 41.9-point margin. Somewhere a mercy rule is filing a grievance about not being invoked. 96.5 — the worst score anyone managed this week. Issa is asked to report to the film room and to bring a helmet. Winner winner: Aziz at 2-2. The trajectory is real. So is the schedule. We'll see. Issa is now 1-3, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Mustafa
(Forbes 30 Under 5'5)
138.4@118.9
Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
Pregame · The Booth

Ladies and gentlemen, a football game. Allegedly. Adil (3-0) and Mustafa (2-1) come in dead even on paper, which is a polite way of saying neither has earned my respect. Adil has won 3 straight, and has started walking around like they invented zone-read analytics. One of you is about to be a cautionary tale. The booth thanks you in advance.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Forbes 30 Under 5'5 138.4, Talkin Tua Teenager 118.9. Workmanlike win for Mustafa. Nothing pretty about it, but neither is this league. 3-1 for Mustafa, who gets to spend a full week believing his own process. Dangerous stuff. Adil slides to 3-1. The schedule ahead offers no apologies and neither does the booth.
