SEASON 2026

WEEK 1

Week HighKarim176.2
Week LowOmar H.80.2
THE WEEKLY REPORT: the numbers are in and several of them are embarrassing.

Karim annihilated Ahmad by 59.0, a score differential normally reserved for scrimmages against air. Adil took care of Omar H., 111.8-80.2, workmanlike and forgettable. Issa handled Omar A., 148.1-117.1, in a game with all the drama of a scheduled oil change. Aziz dispatched Tarick 127.2-101.7 with the ruthless efficiency of a man deleting spam. Mustafa got past Yousef, 152.2-143.8, in a game the tape will file under 'fine, whatever'. Okashah survived Zaid by 0.4, and both benches deserve subpoenas over it.

Week's best: Karim with 176.2. Briefly competent. Mark the calendar. Week's worst: Omar H. with 80.2. Twelve managers, and one of them scored THAT.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: Week 1 of 2023: Zaid beat Ahmad by 71.1, a beating the tape still uses as training material. 2024's Week 1 gave us Omar A. 150.1, Issa 124.0 — remembered fondly by exactly one of them. In 2025, Yousef dropped 135.3 on Omar H. in this same week — a public execution the league still references.

That's the report. Complaints can be filed directly into the group chat where they belong.

Omar H.
(The Milkman)
80.2@111.8
Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
Pregame · The Booth

The booth has reviewed both rosters and would like to speak to a manager. Either one. Talkin Tua Teenager and The Milkman open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

It ends 111.8-80.2. No drama, no controversy, just Omar H. quietly updating his excuses spreadsheet. A combined 192.0 points. I've covered scoreless soccer friendlies with more offense. Both lineups should apologize to the sport. 80.2 — the worst score anyone managed this week. Omar H. is asked to report to the film room and to bring a helmet. Adil is 1-0 now. The booth has updated his file from 'concerning' to 'under review.' Omar H. slides to 0-1. The schedule ahead offers no apologies and neither does the booth.

Tarick
(Shia Killer)
101.7@127.2
Aziz
(To Infinity and Bijan)
Pregame · The Booth

I've broken down the matchups. One of them broke down right back. To Infinity and Bijan and Shia Killer open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Lineups lock soon. So do fates.

Postgame · The Booth

To Infinity and Bijan handles business, 127.2-101.7. Tarick will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. Aziz climbs to 1-0, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. Tarick sits at 0-1 and has begun using the phrase 'points against' unprompted. A cry for help.

Zaid
(Palestony Soprano)
106.3@106.7
Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
Pregame · The Booth

Two managers enter. One leaves pretending they 'didn't even check their lineup.' Mohammad's Dolphins Team and Palestony Soprano open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Somebody tell the benches to stay warm. They usually outscore the starters around here.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Mohammad's Dolphins Team survives Palestony Soprano, 106.7-106.3. A 0.4-point margin. That's not a win, that's a coin flip with better marketing. That's 1-0 for Okashah. Say what you want about the man — the booth certainly will — but the wins are real. Zaid falls to 0-1. The good news: it can't get worse. The bad news: I said that last week too.

Omar A.
(CRASHEE RICE)
117.1@148.1
Issa
(Shamjesus)
Pregame · The Booth

This is the matchup the schedule-maker circled, presumably while laughing. Shamjesus and CRASHEE RICE open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Whatever happens, remember: the booth predicted it, retroactively, with confidence.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Shamjesus 148.1, CRASHEE RICE 117.1. Workmanlike win for Issa. Nothing pretty about it, but neither is this league. 1-0. Issa played the odds and, for once, the odds played along. Omar A. falls to 0-1. The group chat has been notified. The group chat was already laughing.

Yousef
(Black Ts)
143.8@152.2
Mustafa
(Waiver Sniper)
Pregame · The Booth

Welcome back to the only league where the tape never lies and neither do I. Waiver Sniper and Black Ts open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Kickoff's coming. Set your lineups, say your prayers.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: 152.2 to 143.8. Mustafa did what good teams do; Yousef did what Yousef does. 296.0 combined points. Somewhere a defensive coordinator is weeping, and neither of these managers cares. 1-0 for Mustafa, who gets to spend a full week believing his own process. Dangerous stuff. Yousef is now 0-1, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Karim
(I LaPorted the Nabers)
176.2@117.2
Ahmad
(Raventus)
Pregame · The Booth

I watched the film twice so you only have to suffer once. Raventus and I LaPorted the Nabers open the 2026 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. The tape rolls at kickoff. The excuses roll shortly after.

Postgame · The Booth

It ends 176.2-117.2. The booth has watched a lot of football. This was adjacent to some of it. Combined 293.4. If you blinked, you missed forty points and at least one act of villainy. League-best 176.2 for Karim this week. The booth acknowledges excellence the way it acknowledges everything: reluctantly. Karim improves to 1-0 and has earned exactly one week of walking slightly taller. Use it wisely. As for Ahmad: 0-1 now. At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a body of work.
